We have state-of-the-art fully automatic equipment, so every Infull product is top-notch in terms of quality control with a minimal batch-to-batch variation.
Blanking
The first step in the manufacture of stainless steel cutlery is to punch the stainless steel into the proper shape. Infull's cutlery production begins with stainless steel, sterling silver, rectangular flat blanks that are stamped into individual blanks, which are flat pieces roughly the same shape as the workpiece to be produced.
Rolling
Compared with ordinary carbon steel hot rolling, the rolling technology and process know-how of stainless steel are mainly reflected in the inspection and cleaning of ingots, heating methods, roll pass design, rolling temperature control and on-line heat treatment of products.
Through a series of rolling operations, these blanks are graded or rolled to the correct thickness and shape required for the cutlery pattern. The billet is first rolled left-to-right, right-to-left and longitudinally transverse, and then the profile is trimmed. Afterwards, each piece takes on a clean and uncluttered shape in the rough dimensions of the appliance.
Cutting To Outline
The rolled billet is placed in the cutting machine by the operator to remove excess metal and shape the workpiece. The process is similar to cutting shapes out of rolled dough. The shape of the workpiece is cut from the metal, then the excess metal is remelted and reconverted into sheet metal for reuse. This trim must ensure accurate fit of the part into the mold when the design is applied.
Buffing And Sand Polishing
The knives, forks and spoons are now buffed, then polished. Depending on the pattern, special finishing processes can give silver-plated and sterling silver pieces a bright, mirror-like finish, a soft, satiny glow, or a brushed or florentine finish .
Different polishing degrees will make the product show different colors, which depends on the designer's research and development concept.
Semi-finished Product Cleaning
After polishing, these semi-finished products are placed on the conveyor belt for a cleaning to remove dust and residual powder on the surface for subsequent finishing operations
Forming The Pattern
The next step is the forming of the pattern. Each pattern has its own hardened steel dies—two dies for each piece, one with the pattern for the front of the piece, and the other with the pattern for the back of the piece.
Electrophoresis
We use the electrophoresis technique, in which charged particles move toward the opposite electrode under the action of an electric field, which is called electrophoresis. The technology that uses charged particles to move at different speeds in an electric field to achieve separation is called electrophoresis.
The use of water-soluble paint, with water as the dissolving medium, saves a lot of organic solvents, greatly reduces air pollution and environmental hazards is safe and hygienic.
The coating efficiency is high, the coating loss is small, and the utilization rate of the coating can reach 90%~95%.
High production efficiency, automatic continuous production can be realized in construction, which greatly improves labor efficiency.
Spraying
Stainless steel spraying is substantially different from the above coloring treatment, due to the difference in materials, some spraying may damage the stainless steel surface oxide layer. But Infull Cutlery's spraying can achieve different color stainless steel products with a simple process, and also can apply different spraying to change the feel of stainless steel.
Powder Coating
Powder coating is to use powder spraying equipment (electrostatic spraying machine) to spray powder coating on the surface of the workpiece. Under the action of static electricity, the powder will be uniformly adsorbed on the surface of the workpiece to form a powder coating; After baking and leveling, it becomes a final coating with different effects (different types of powder coatings), which has the advantages of strong adhesion, corrosion resistance, and aging resistance.
PVD Coating
PVD coating technology is currently the most widely used and most valuable type of surface treatment technology. Without affecting the original size of the workpiece, PVD film can be used to improve surface appearance, improve surface strength, enhance wear resistance, and It has good thermal conductivity, anti-corrosion, self-lubricating and anti-scratch ability.
Laser Engraving
Laser engraving processing is based on the use of numerical control technology, and laser is the processing medium. The physical denaturation of instantaneous melting and vaporization of the processing material under the irradiation of laser engraving can enable laser engraving to achieve the purpose of processing. Laser engraving engraving is the use of laser technology to engrave text on objects. The words engraved by this technology have no nicks, the surface of the object is still smooth, and the writing will not wear out. Laser engraving is a challenging piece of art, and laser engraving has many advantages that can take your tableware to the next level, even unexpected results.
Finished Products Cleaning
After finishing all these processes, cutlery will be carried to ultrasonic automatic cleaning machine for cleaning and drying.
Inspection & Packing
Final inspection checks the pieces for chafes, scratches, rough spots between a fork's tines, discoloration, or any other flaws that might have occurred when the pieces were stamped, shaped and polished.
